Iran proclaimed this weekend that that they were enacting a new ban against United States citizens from traveling to their country in response to President Donald Trump making theirs wait 90 days and go through some extra scrutiny.
The order temporarily halts refugee admissions for 90 days from 7 countries to improve the vetting process, then caps refugee admissions at 50,000 per year.
A spokesman for Tehran’s foreign ministry made this statement:
“While respecting the American people and distinguishing between them and the hostile policies of the U.S. government, Iran will implement the principle of reciprocity until the offensive U.S. limitations against Iranian nationals are lifted. The restrictions against travel by Muslims to America… are an open affront against the Muslim world and the Iranian nation in particular and will be known as a great gift to extremists”
Go for it Iran.
Obama’s list included 38 countries.
Trump set up a temporary, 90-day wait on people entering the U.S. from only 7 countries, Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. These are countries either torn apart by jihadist violence or under the control of hostile, jihadist governments. Countries that have a working relationship of some kind on the border were not included.
The conservative approach that access to our country is a gift
The liberal mentality that it is an entitlement.
No one is entitled to come move here.
That line of reasoning takes you right to having to use a false narrative to defend.
It is not a Muslim ban, based on a persons skin color or belief system. It is a HOLD for a few months, while a NEW administration does some double checking on the vetting process to make sure America is safe.
ABSOLUTELY no one really cares what god these people believe in. It is the actions and statements made by extremists that have nestled themselves within Islam. It is about terrorism.
Trump could care less skin color or belief system. That is a liberal led lie that is used to paint the conservatives as the mean old white bigots. They have been using that tactic long time now.
The liberal conclusion is that because the US is successful, we have the duty to turn it all over to the poor and downtrodden. When in truth, via public and private, the United States has done more to help many peoples of the world than the entire rest of the world including throughout history.
The stronger America is, the stronger the world.
